Jamaican Woman Fatally Shot in New York; Uncle Charged in Alleged Family Inheritance Dispute

According to police, Anderson was sitting inside her Jeep Grand Cherokee outside her workplace in the Bronx shortly after midnight when multiple gunshots were fired through the passenger-side window. She was struck twice in the chest and rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi, where doctors later pronounced her dead.
The investigation quickly led detectives to 58-year-old Michael Foster, who authorities say is Anderson’s uncle. Foster, who resides in Mount Vernon, has since been arrested and charged with murder, manslaughter, and multiple weapons-related offences.
