Kylian Mbapp\u00e9 has condemned what he described as “brazen racism” after a Paraguayan senator made offensive remarks about the French captain following France’s FIFA World Cup Round of 16 victory over Paraguay.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The football world has rallied behind Kylian Mbapp\u00e9 after the French superstar publicly denounced racist comments made by Paraguayan senator Celeste Amarilla in the aftermath of France’s 1-0 win over Paraguay at the FIFA World Cup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

French Sports Minister Marie <\/strong>Barsacq also condemned the comments, while Paraguay’s government distanced itself from Amarilla’s statements, emphasizing that they do not represent the country’s values or its people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The controversy came just hours after France secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Paraguay in the FIFA World Cup Round of 16.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mbapp\u00e9’s second-half penalty proved to be the difference as Didier Deschamps’ side booked its place in the quarter-finals, keeping alive its hopes of lifting another World Cup trophy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
